Attendance Allowance

Welfare Benefits

Attendance Allowance

You could receive between £55.10 or £82.30 a week to help with personal care if you’re physically or mentally disabled and you’re aged 65 or over.

Attendance Allowance is paid at two different rates and how much you’re entitled to depends on the level of care that you need because of your disability. The lower rate if you need frequent help or constant supervision during the day, or supervision at night; the higher rate if you need help or supervision throughout both day and night, or you’re terminally ill.

You could also be eligible for extra Pension Credit, Housing Benefit or Council Tax Reduction if you get Attendance Allowance.

It is very easy to miss out on benefits which you need and are entitled to.
