Legal
Power of Attorney
Applying for Power of Attorney, both for Property & Finance and for Health & Welfare can be off putting because the application forms look daunting. If you are thinking about putting in place a POA or have been recommended to do so, then Paperweight can help you and your designated Attorney(s) complete and submit the forms.
It is, of course, essential that your Attorney is someone you trust to act in good faith and with common sense and who, one hopes, will in time enjoy the trust of your wider family. Remember, whilst you are in good physical or mental health the Attorney can stay very much in the background, but if you are less mobile than you used to be or less adept mentally, an Attorney can make administration of your affairs that much less complicated.
