Helpline Assessor Plus

The Paperweight Trust is seeking highly motivated paid individuals to join our office team.

Hours: Part-Time position (full working week to be shared by 2/3 people)

Reports to: Director of Operations

Salary:  £14-£16 per hour DOE

Location: Hendon

Key responsibilities include:

  • Answering incoming calls to the helpline and conducting initial assessments of client needs.
  • Assisting the Director of Operations with day-to-day tasks.
  • Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and outcomes.
  • Collaborating with other team members and agencies to coordinate comprehensive support for clients.
  • Participating in regular training and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Taking on other key responsibilities as and when required by the Senior Leadership team.

Essential:

  • Highly proficient in all Microsoft packages.
  • Have previous experience using a CRM or similar style database.
  • Fluent in English (Spoken and Written)
  • Empathetic and can-do attitude.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a compassionate and empathetic demeanour, and the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations. Previous experience in a similar role or in a social services setting is preferred.

This is a part-time position, with the potential for increased hours as the helpline grows.
