Invite Us to Speak

Would your community, shul, school or organisation like to learn more about Paperweight and the support available to people facing difficult life situations?

Paperweight regularly delivers talks and information sessions for communities, schools and synagogues, offering a clear and practical insight into the services we provide and the issues we are seeing on the front line. These sessions help people understand where to turn for support, what help may be available, and how early guidance can often prevent a situation from becoming more serious.

Our talks can be tailored to the specific needs of your audience for example, elder care, and may include up-to-date information on some of the most pressing financial, legal, welfare and practical challenges affecting the community today. We aim to explain complex topics in plain English, with sensitivity, discretion and an understanding of the realities people may be facing.

Sessions can include:

Whether for a small group, a school year, a shul community, a women’s group, senior members’ group or communal organisation, our aim is always the same: to share practical knowledge, raise awareness and ensure that no one feels they have to manage alone.

An overview of Paperweight’s services and how we support individuals and families through complex and seemingly complex bureaucracy, welfare, debt, employment, family law matters, bereavement administration and other practical challenges.

Helping Rabbonim, teachers and community leaders  identify when someone may be struggling quietly, and how to guide them towards appropriate support.

An opportunity for participants to raise general questions in a confidential and respectful setting, without judgement or pressure.
