That’s where Paperweight begins.
Paperweight is a UK-wide Jewish charity offering free, practical personalised support to people in crisis. Since 2011 we have helped those overwhelmed by the big issues of the day, including debt, family breakdown, bereavement, redundancy, mental health, homelessness, bureaucracy and many other life-changing challenges.
To alleviate these crises Paperweight provides compassionate, confidential guidance that restores confidence, promotes independence and enables clients to move forward with clarity and dignity.

Paperweight is busy expanding to set up branches in a host of small regional Jewish communities dotted around the country.
